In the category "renewable energies" the young enterprise "Designergy SA" located in the commune of San Vittore (Canton of Graubuenden) was awarded with a "Watt d'Or" prize. The 37-years old engineer Daniel Lepori, founder of the young company had an idea (vision) six years ago, which convinced by simplicity. He was annoyed about the, in his view, to high costs for rooftop solar installations and he was convinced to have discovered a market gap in that field. The unique thing about his idea is that you have to say yes to a photovoltaic system on the roof; a roof however is needed always. Based on it the amazing vision to use and develop the "rooftop self" as solar plant was born. He had to go in search of investors first for his project of an all-in-one solar rooftop. Based on a business plan and a prototype of the rooftop elements, he convinced investors and collected several millions of Swiss Francs. The unique thing of his innovative rooftop element TCR (Triactive Core Roof) is that the rooftop self provides the photovoltaic. The rooftop element TCR disposes of three significant functions, such as heat insulation, water tightness and power generation by photovoltaic. That is all integrated and prefabricated in the unit of an all-in-one solar rooftop. The world novelty "Triactive Core Roof (TCR)" convinces not only by its simple and rapid installation, but by its low costs and its attractive design. A robot-based machinery assembles the different layers of the TCR-solar roof. It was very difficult to connect the elements of the solar roof with each other in a waterproofed way, said the founder. The roof can stand great snow loads and according to a test its life- time is 40 years. The pilot project is located on the roof of a nearby industrial building; there 800 square-meters were covered with the Swiss novelty. The generation of electricity shall be profitable autonomously thanks to the intelligent techniques. Mit der "Watt d'Or" Auszeichnung ehrt das Bundesamt fuer Energie (Swiss Federal Office of Energy) jaehrlich Best-Leistungen (Best Energy Projects) in verschiedenen Kategorien im Bereich Energie. In der Kategorie "Erneuerbare Energien" (Renewable Energies) wurde die junge Firma "Designergy SA" mit Sitz in San Vittore (Kanton Graubuenden) mit einem "Watt d'Or Preis" ausgezeichnet. Der 37- jaehrige Ingenieur Daniel Lepori, Gruender des jungen Unternehmens hatte vor sechs Jahren eine Idee (Vision), welche durch ihre Einfachheit ueberzeugte. Er aergerte sich ueber die, seiner Ansicht nach, zu hohen Kosten fuer Dach-Solar-Anlagen und er war ueberzeugt in diesem Bereich eine Marktluecke entdeckt zu haben. Das einzigartige an seiner Idee ist, dass man zu einer Photovoltaik-Anlage auf dem Dach ja sagen muss; ein Dach hingegen braucht es immer. Daraus entstand die erstaunliche Vision, das "Dach selber" als Solar-Anlage zu entwickeln und zu nutzen. Fuer sein Projekt des ganzheitliches (all-in-one) Solar-Dachs (roof integrated photovoltaics) musste er zuerst auf die Suche nach Investoren gehen. Basierend auf einem "Business-Plan" und einem Prototyp der Anlage ueberzeugte er Investoren und sammelte mehrere Millionen Schweizer Franken. Das einzigartige an seinem innovativem Dach-Element TCR (Triactive Core Roof) ist, dass das Dach selber fuer die Photovoltaik sorgt. Das Dach-Element TCR verfuegt ueber drei wesentliche Funktionen, naemlich Waerme-Daemmung, Wasser- Dichtigkeit und Strom-Erzeugung durch Photovoltaik. Dies ist alles integriert und vorgefertigt in der Einheit eines all-in-one Solar- Dachs. Die Welt-Neuheit "Triactive Core Roof (TCR)" ueberzeugt nicht nur durch eine einfache und rasche Installation, sondern durch seine tiefen Kosten und sein attraktives Design. Eine Roboter-basierte Anlage setzt die diversen Schichten des TCR-Solar-Dachs zusammen. Sehr schwierig war es die Elemente des Solar-Dachs wasserdicht mit- einander zu verbinden, sagt der Gruender. Das Dach kann grosse Schnee-Lasten ertragen und gemaess Test betraegt die Lebens-Dauer 40 Jahre. Das Pilot-Projekt befindet sich auf dem Dach eines Industrie- Gebaeudes in der Naehe; dort wurden 800 Quadratmeter mit der Schweizer Welt-Neuheit bedeckt.
