The battery is produced by the chemical element "Vanadium-(Pentoxide)" and it can save 50% to 100% more energy than a conventional battery made of "Lithium-Iron- Phosphate". There is no danger of fire with the new battery due to the lower voltage and the recharge time could be reduced by half! The "Swiss Made Battery" abstains from the use of cobalt and the poisonous nickel! The new "Swiss Made" battery is particularly suitable for E-Bikes, Drones, Electric Cars (EV) etc.; there is a great interest on the "Swiss Innovation" by Japanese, Chinese and European companies. The research for the new battery is running for 6 years; developing partners are the "ETH Zurich" and the "Paul-Scherrer-Institute". The Swatch-CEO Nick Hayek speaks of a turnover in the size of up to 15 billion US-Dollars for the "Swiss Made Power Battery" by 2020. The new battery will be produced in series by "Renata batteries" in Itingen/BL, an affiliated company of the "Swatch-Group" by July 2016. Bald kommt eine neue, revolutionaere "Swiss-Made Super-Batterie" auf den Markt; entwickelt wurde sie von der "Swatch-Group" Tochter-Firma "Belenos Clean Power Holding Ltd.". Die Batterie wird mit dem chemischen Element "Vanadium-(Pentoxid)" hergestellt und kann 50% bis 100% mehr Energie speichern als herkoemmliche Batterien aus "Lithium- Eisen-Phosphat". Bei der neuen Batterie gibt es keine Feuer-Gefahr wegen der tieferen Spannung (Voltage) und die Aufladezeit (recharge time) laesst sich um die Haelfte reduzieren! Die "Swiss Made Batterie" verzichtet auch auf die Verwendung von Kobalt und dem giftigen Nickel! Die neue "Swiss-Made" Batterie eignet sich besonders fuer E-Bikes, Drohnen, Elektro-Autos usw.; es besteht grosses Interesse an der "Schweizer Innovation" von japanischen, chinesischen und europaeischen Unternehmen. Die Forschung fuer die neue Batterie laeuft seit 6 Jahren; Entwicklungs-Partner sind die "ETH Zuerich" und das "Paul- Scherrer-Institut".
