The President of the Swiss National Bank (SNB) Thomas Jordan described the new Swiss banknotes as the "safest" ones worldwide. The Vice- President of the "SNB" swarmed in an interview calling the new 50 franc note "the most beautiful banknote of all time." The 50 franc note (ca. Yen 5,000) is the first one of the new series to come in circulation on April 12, 2016. The next banknotes in the face value of CHF 10, CHF 20, CHF 100, CHF 200 and CHF 1,000 (ca. Yen 100,000) come afterwards staggered into circulation. The work on the new Swiss banknotes took 11 years; with a delay of nearly 6 years, the new notes were presented this week. In Europe there are discussions about the abolition of cash; in Switzerland however cash is the "most popular currency". The most valuable Swiss banknote in the amount of CHF 1,000 is often "criticized" internationally; the SNB-President has however clearly stated that the "SNB" will hold on to the Swiss 1,000 franc note. According to SNB Thomas Jordan cash is very popular in Switzerland and the payment with it is efficient. The notes in circulation is Switzerland has increased continuously in recent years. The new note comprises 15 safety-features and consists of three layers. The inner layer is made of synthetic material and the two outer layers are of cotton-paper. According to the SNB statistics, the value sum of the notes in circulation amounts to approximately 66 billion Swiss Francs (02.2016). In Germany, there is a discussion about an abolition of the 500-Euro note; there is however great resistance against it. With the disappearance of cash, the "freedom of citizens" would disappear too! Cash is an effective protection of the citizens against expropriation; would there be only "electronic money",then the citizens had to pay penalty interest (negative interest) already for a long time!! Die Schweizer sind stolz auf ihre Bank-Noten (Schweizer Franken) und diese Woche wurde die Praesentation der neuen 50ziger-Note wie die "Geburt eines Koenigs-Kindes" gefeiert, schreibt eine grosse Schweizer Zeitung. Der Praesident der Schweizer Nationalbank (SNB) Thomas Jordan bezeichnete die neuen Schweizer Banken-Noten als die "sichersten" auf der ganzen Welt. Der Vize-Praesident der "SNB" schwaermte in einem Interview davon, dass die neue 50-Franken-Note, "die schoenste Note aller Zeiten" sei. Als erste Note der neuen Serie kommt die 50- Franken-Note (ca. Yen 5'000) am 12. April 2016 in Umlauf. Die weiteren Bank-Noten in der Stueckelung von CHF 10, CHF 20, CHF 100, CHF 200 und CHF 1'000 (ca. Yen 100'000) kommen nachher gestaffelt in Umlauf. Die Arbeit an den neuen Schweizer Bank-Noten dauerte 11 Jahre; mit einer Verzoegerung von fast 6 Jahren wurden die neuen Noten diese Woche vorgestellt. In Europa wird ueber die Abschaffung des Bargeldes gesprochen; in der Schweiz ist Bargeld jedoch das "beliebteste" Zahlungsmittel. Die wertvollste Schweizer Bank-Note im Betrag von CHF 1'000 wird international oft "kritisiert"; der SNB-Praesident hat jedoch deutlich gesagt, dass an der Schweizer 1'000-Franken-Note festgehalten wird. Laut SNB-Thomas Jordan ist das Bargeld in der Schweiz sehr populaer und das Zahlen damit effizient. Der Noten-Umlauf in der Schweiz ist in den letzten Jahren dauernd gestiegen. Die neue Note verfuegt ueber 15 Sicherheits-Merkmale und besteht aus drei Schichten. Die innere Schicht ist aus Kunststoff und die zwei Aeussern aus Baumwoll-Papier. Gemaess SNB-Statistik betraegt die Wert-Summe der sich im Umlauf befindlichen Bank-Noten zirka 66 Mrd. Schweizer Franken (02.2016). In Deutschland wird ueber die Abschaffung des 500-Euro- Scheins diskutiert; es gibt jedoch grossen Widerstand dagegen. Mit dem Verschwinden des Bargelds wuerde auch die "Freiheit der Buerger" verschwinden! Bargeld ist ein wirksamer Schutz der Buerger vor Enteignung; gaebe es nur noch "elektronisches Geld", muesste der Buerger schon lange Strafzinsen bezahlen!!
