(Tue. 17.05.2016 Smi) ジュネーヴ空港で今週世界初の完全自動手荷物ロボットの運転が開始された。 彼の名は自らも世界初のロボットを開発した有名なイタリアの発明家兼技術者 レオナルドダヴィンチに因んで「レオ」。レオは搭乗客を早くもジュネーヴ空 港のターミナル玄関で出迎える。荷物のチェックインは搭乗客にとっては実に 簡単。レオの「スキャン＆フライ」画面に触れて、スーツケースを荷台に置き、 電子航空券を読み取らせると、レオは搭乗客がスーツケースに張り付ける手荷 物タグを自動印刷する。確認後レオは荷台を閉めて、自分で荷物の仕分け場所 に行く。（レオのヴィデオリンク乞参照）レオには最大23kgのスーツケースが 2個収納出来る。レオは迅速さに優れ、荷物の処理は1分足らずで完了する！搭 乗客はレオに感動している。ロボット・レオは来週バルセロナの「航空輸送IT サミット」で紹介される。レオのお蔭で出発ロビーの大量のスーツケースと荷 物用ワゴンの集中を軽減できる。今後レオは荷物を自動でレントゲン撮影さえ 出来るようになる。レオのソフトウェアは連邦工科大学ローザンヌ校からスピ ンオフした「ブルーボティクス社」が開発した。将来的には、荷物は搭乗客以 外誰の手も煩わせずに正しい航空機に直接格納される。こうした事が実現した のは、レオの様なロボットと人工知能のお蔭！ (出典：2016年5月17日付 srf.ch/news) The worldwide first, fully autonomous baggage robot is in operation at the airport of Geneva since this week. It carries the name "Leo", named after the famous Italian inventor and engineer Leonardo da Vinci, who built himself the world's first robot. "Leo" welcomes the passengers in Geneva already outside of the terminal building. The "Check-in" of the luggage is very easy for the passenger. He touches the "Scan & Fly" screen of "Leo", places the suitcase into the baggage compartment, scans his electronic flight ticket and "Leo" already (automatically) prints out the baggage tag, which the passenger attaches on the suitcase. After confirmation, "Leo" closes (locks) the baggage compartment and rolls autonomously to the handling of baggage site (Watch the video link of "Leo"). "Leo" has space for 2 suitcases of a maximum of 23 kilograms. "Leo" has convinced by its speed; the registration of luggage is completed in less than one minute! The passengers are thrilled by "Leo"; robot "Leo" will be presented at the trade fair "Air Transport IT Summit" in Barcelona next week. Thanks to "Leo" the crowding with many suitcases and luggage trolleys in the departure hall shall be reduced. Later, "Leo" is even capable of doing the X-ray of the luggage autonomously by himself. The software of "Leo" was developed by the company "BlueBotics", a "spin-off" of the EPFL Lausanne (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne). In the future, the luggage shall no longer be handled by people, except by the passenger and loaded directly onto the correct aircraft. That becomes possible thanks to robots like "Leo" and because of artificial intelligence. Auf dem Flughafen Genf ist seit dieser Woche der weltweit erste, vollstaendig unabhaengige Gepaeck-Roboter in Betrieb. Er traegt den Namen "Leo", benannt nach dem beruehmten italienischen Erfinder und Ingenieur Leonardo da Vinci, welcher selber den weltweit ersten Roboter baute. "Leo" begruesst die Flug-Gaeste in Genf bereits vor dem Eingang zum Terminal. Das "Check-in" des Gepaecks ist fuer den Flug- Gast ganz einfach. Er beruehrt den "Scan & Fly"-Bildschirm von "Leo", stellt den Koffer in das Gepaeck-Fach, scannt sein elektronisches Flug-Ticket und schon druckt der Roboter "Leo" (automatisch) die Gepaeck-Etikette (baggage tag) aus, welche der Flug-Gast am Koffer befestigt. Nach der Bestaetigung schliesst "Leo" das Gepaeck-Fach und rollt autonom zur Gepaeck-Sortierung (Watch the video link of "Leo"). "Leo" hat Platz fuer 2 Koffer von max. 23 Kilogramm. "Leo" ueberzeugt durch seine Schnelligkeit; die Gepaeck-Aufgabe ist in weniger als einer Minute erledigt! Die Flug-Gaeste sind begeistert von "Leo"; Roboter "Leo" wird naechste Woche an der Fachmesse fuer "Aviatik und IT" (Air Transport IT Summit) in Barcelona vorgestellt. Dank "Leo" soll sich das Gedraenge mit vielen Koffern und Gepaeck-Wagen in der Abflughalle reduzieren. Spaeter ist "Leo" sogar faehig, das Gepaeck selbstaendig zu roentgen (X-ray). Die Software von "Leo" wurde von der Firma "BlueBotics", einem "Spin-off" der EPFL Lausanne entwickelt. In Zukunft soll Gepaeck, ausser vom Flug-Gast, von niemand mehr gehandhabt werden und direkt auf das korrekte Flugzeug verladen werden.
