Only 36% of the 18 to 24 years old people had participated on the "EU referendum's vote" (Brexit). Britons over the age of 65 years complied to 83% with their citizens duties to go to the vote. Because of the weakness of the British currency GBP certain products from the UK are said to become cheaper. The "EU must implement direct democracy based on the Swiss model," said the ex-EU member of parliament Mr. Gerald Haefner (Green Party). Will Great Britain (UK) join now the EFTA (European Free Trade Association) after the exit from the EU, was asked by many people? "S&P" weist auf einen geschwaechten politischen Zusammenhalt in der EU hin und befuerchtet eine Kuerzung des "EU-Haushalt". Eine Kolumne im "Spiegel.de" fragt sich, ob die deutsche Kanzlerin Merkel "schuld" am Brexit ist?; ihre "Refugee-Welcome" Politik habe vielen Briten grosse Angst gemacht! Nach "Brexit" machen viele "Junge Briten" einen grossen Wirbel auf sozialen Medien gegen den Austritt aus der EU; eine Schlagzeile sagt dazu "die Faule Jugend ist schuld am Brexit". Diese Leute sollten den "Fehler" bei sich selber suchen; Analysen zeigen, dass die Jungen ihr Stimmrecht kaum wahrgenommen haben! Er ist Gruender der Stiftung "Mehr Demokratie"; er warnt davor das "Protest-Votum der Buerger" zu ignorieren! Schliesst sich "Grossbritannien (UK)" nach dem Austritt aus der EU jetzt der EFTA (European Free Trade Association) an, fragen sich viele? Heute gehoeren noch Norwegen, Island, Liechtenstein und die Schweiz zur "EFTA"; die "EFTA" hat mit rund 27 Dritt-Staaten Freihandels-Abkommen abgeschlossen. Grossbritannien war Gruendungs-Mitglied der "EFTA" im Jahr 1960; jetzt wird ueber einen Wieder-Eintritt von Grossbritannien in die "EFTA" diskutiert. Mit einem EFTA-Mitglied Grossbritannien wuerde die "EFTA" in der Welt erheblich an Bedeutung gewinnen; dies ist die Meinung der EFTA-Laender. Laut Oekonom Rudolf Strahm sind mehr als 90% des europaeischen Wirtschaftsverkehrs in globalen "Spielregeln" organisiert z.B. WTO, OECD etc.; diese sind auch ohne EU-Binnenmarkt wirksam.
